TEACHER BY DAY, FIGHTER BY NIGHT -- ST PHOTO: DESMOND LIM By day, Mr Rajiv Jude Illesinghe, 27, is an assistant discipline master at a secondary school. At night, he morphs into an urban warrior learning lethal fighting skills as a mixed martial arts (MMA) practitioner. Mr Illesinghe is just one of 5,000 disciples of the sport, which has taken off in a big way in Singapore in the last three years. His students think he is cool. 'They no longer see teachers as bookworms,' he says.
