Caltex has lowered prices for diesel, as well as 95- and 98-octane petrol

Prices for its regular 95- and 98-octane petrol have been lowered. Prices for its 92-octane grade of petrol are unchanged. Diesel prices were lowered by one cent a litre. A litre of 92-, 95- and 98-octane petrol now costs $2.047, $2.097 (down from $2.107) and $2.225 (down from $2.245) a litre respectively. A litre of diesel is $1.643. 'Today's pump price adjustment is in response to local market conditions,' Caltex said in a statement on Tuesday. 'Caltex will continue to monitor the market closely and adjust its discounts and pump prices when necessary.'
