Three cars parked at an evacuation centre in Yamadamachi had their tanks mysteriously filled with gas overnight, and two 20-litre containers of desperately needed heating oil were left outside the center, where about 170 evacuees are staying. 'We had hardly any fuel left. We were in a real pinch,' one evacuee said. 'I'm so grateful for the donation. I reckon it was Tiger Mask.'
