thought she saw this scene in Channel NewsAsia's trailer for its coverage of the Japan earthquake. The scene is from the movie Tang Shan Earthquake, or Aftershock, released in 2010 and based on a 1976 incident in China. Channel NewsAsia is part of MediaCorp, which was recently involved in a PR blunder involving the Japan crisis . The broadcaster had canvassed for advertisements, shortly after the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan . Said Mimi in her contribution (Mar 24): "Did CNA use this for Japan's 9.0 earthquake trailer?
