【シンガポール】 政府は25日、障害者雇用促進のための「オープンドア基金」に350万シンガポールドル(約2億2490万円)を追加投入すると発表。

Ministry for Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) has announced that it will give an additional S$3.5 million to the Open Door Fund (ODF) to incentivise companies to hire persons with disabilities. According to MCYS, the money will go towards raising awareness and helping employers develop the systems needed to hire persons with disabilities in a sustainable way. For example, the fund can help employers enhance areas in human resource and operations that cater to the needs of those with disabilities. This is in addition to the current incentives offered under the ODF, which was first launched in 2007. These include helping employers run apprenticeship training, modify the workplace and re-design jobs. ODF also allows employers who hire persons with disabilities to claim up to S$100,000 for these expenses or claim up to 60% of apprenticeship allowance for six mont...
