Fresh figures from the Urban Redevelopment Authority showed that prices dipped 0.1 per cent in the first quarter, after a marginal 0.2 per cent rise in the quarter before. Prices of non-landed private homes in the city centre decreased by 0.9 per cent in the quarter while those in the city fringe dropped by 0.7 per cent. Homes in suburban region, however, saw prices rise at a faster rate. They increased 1.2 per cent in the three months to March 31, up from the 0.6 per cent rise in the fourth quarter.
