Steel, iron end flat in thin trade

New Delhi , Mar 26 (PTI) The local steel and iron market ended on a flat note today as prices moved in a tight range in restricted buying and settled around previous levels. Market analysts said absence of worthwhile activity mainly kept wholesale saria prices steady. Following are today''s quotations per tonne: CTD saria (Kamdhenu) 8-mm 42,300, 10-mm 44,000, 12-mm 42,700, 16-25 mm 40,550. Saria Jai Bharat (ISO 9002) 8-mm 39,650, 10 mm 38,850, 12-mm 38,050, 16-25 mm 38,050. Amba saria (ISO-9002) 8-mm 39,000, 10-mm 38,300, 12-mm 37,700, 16-25-mm 37,500.
