Despite rising inflation, he has no plans to increase his prices. On Saturday morning, he received a personal 'thank you' from Aljunied GRC MP Cynthia Phua, who went around to his stall and 45 others at the Hainanese Village Centre, a market and food centre on Hougang Avenue 1. She was there to thank them for their voluntary pledge to keep their food prices constant till Dec 31 this year. Said Mr Ng in Mandarin: 'I've been selling prawn noodles for so long, so I have many regular customers.
