GE: Dr Faishal to move to Nee Soon GRC

SINGAPORE: Senior Minister and MP for Marine Parade GRC Goh Chok Tong has revealed on the Marine Parade division's Facebook Page that Dr Muhammad Faishal, from Marine Parade GRC, will be moving to the newly created Nee Soon GRC. Mr Goh described Dr Faishal as humble, sincere, hard-working and effective. He had won the hearts of Kaki Bukit residents and Mr Goh said Marine Parade GRC's loss is Nee Soon's gain. Following the release of the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee Report, Dr Faishal was helping out in the preparations at Aljunied GRC where part of the Kaki Bukit division had been carved out to. With Dr Faishal's move to Nee Soon, all eyes would be on whether incumbent MP and Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Zainul Abidin Rasheed would stay on in the Aljunied GRC.
