Indonesia's ruling party lawmaker kicked off plane - Yahoo!

Jakarta (The Jakarta Post/ANN) - Roy Suryo, a lawmaker from Indonesia's ruling Democratic Party, was kicked off a Lion Air flight on Saturday morning for taking seats reserved for two other passengers for himself and his wife. A Lion Air passenger posted on his Twitter account, @ernestprakasa, that he was surprised to find his and his friend's seats had been occupied by Roy and his wife. He said the couple's tickets appeared to be for the 7:45 a.m. flight, but they insisted on staying in the seats they had appropriated on the 6:15 a.m. flight. The pilot announced the door to the plane should be closed, but the crew could not do so as Ernest and his friend were still standing in the aisle because other seats on the plane were already occupied.
