Post-paid mobile customers of M1, SingTel and StarHub can donate $5, $10 or $20 by sending a text message to a common short-code, 78888, the three telcos said on Monday. The donations, which will go towards the Singapore Red Cross Society's relief efforts in Japan, will be reflected in the customer's next monthly bill. The telcos and telecommunications firm Ericsson, which is providing the technical solution, will waive all administration fees associated with these SMSes.
