Singapore saw the number of foreign visitor hits 990,000 in February. -- ST PHOTO: LAU FOOK KONG SINGAPORE saw the number of foreign visitors hit 990,000 in February. This number is the highest ever recorded for the month of February, said the Singapore Tourism Board. The figure is also a 15.4 per cent jump from February 2010. Visitors from Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Japan and Australia made up 53 per cent of total visitor arrivals. The highest growth came from Hong Kong, the Philippines and Japan.
