SINGAPORE - Refresh your book collection and do your part for the environment at the same time, at the upcoming Book Exchange. The event, organised by the public libraries, allows book lovers to exchange their used books with each other. More than 6,500 participants are expected to take part in the event with a projected exchange of about 65,000 books, said the organisers. To participate, members of the public can drop off their used books at any public library from April 2 to 15 A coupon will be given for every book accepted. All adults' and children's fiction and non-fiction books in the four official languages are accepted. On April 16, the coupons can be presented at the National Library Building for a one-for-one exchange of books collected from other participants. This story is only available online.
