New CET centre for tourism industry

SINGAPORE: The Singapore tourism industry can look forward to a new training centre for its growing workforce. A new integrated continuing education and training (CET) centre for tourism will offer training that promises to respond to Singapore's particular hospitality and service sector needs, as well as new courses in areas like resort management and water recreation. It will provide over 2,000 training places every year. Due to open in June, the centre is a partnership between Australian hospitality school, the William Angliss Institute and the Singapore Workforce Development Agency.
