THE place: Flushing Meadows, New York. The occasion: Sir Paul McCartney's concert marking the opening of Citi Field, the stadium built as a replacement for Shea Stadium. (Shea was the very place that The Beatles performed in 1965, marking the first time a rock band played a stadium venue.) "It was crazy," said guitarist Mark Sheehan of rock band The Script. The Irish trio were McCartney's opening act for that concert. "It was such a nostalgic moment because The Beatles were the first to play Shea Stadium. And to be opening for Paul McCartney was really amazing. "He likes to tell people that he was the first one to play the new stadium, but actually, we were the support band, so we came on first!
