No more drama for Adam Lambert
LAST we checked, American Idol 8 runner-up Adam Lambert was still heavy on the guyliner. But that may be the only thing that remains unchanged with the singer since he entered our collective consciousness on the reality singing show in 2009. With his upcoming second album Trespassing, out here on May 15, Lambert seems to have calmed down, image-wise. Musically, he turns ups the tempo, but turns down the all-out tongue-flailing slow-rock drama we got used to on Idol and his debut album For Your Entertainment (2009). He’s 30 now and seems keen to move away from the glam rock god fantasy to explore reality, which he said in a recent interview is the main theme of the album. “I wanted to let people in.
