Rocketting prices making life tougher - Yahoo!

YES the Government is largely to blame for high costs of living. The problem we have is the different Ministries are trying to outsmart one another by generating revenue for their respective Ministries to SHINE. Sure there are a lot of intelligent people in the Government but the problem is instead of using their intelligence to generate more external benefits for Singaporeans, they are generating FROM Singaporeans. When asked recently a Minister says this high cost of living is GLOBAL. In some cases while it may be GLOBAL, some Governments are the culprits shooting themselves in the foot. Some segments of the population are also to blame eg: the high cost of COE, as long as people are willing to pay, the COE will keep going up.
