The machine will free five kitchen staff to do other jobs instead of cutting 200kg of yam into strips every morning, for the signature stir-fried yam dish sold at its eight outlets. Better yet, he will be able to save a pretty penny on the almost $100,000 machine by tapping on a new $75 million government fund for food and beverage (F&B) companies to increase production with less manpower.
