Edible books enable kids to eat their own words

CAN you eat your own words? Well, you can - with these interesting edible books. Nearly 300 students in primary and secondary schools created the books based on the theme Tang Poetry at the recent Edible Book Festival 2011. Most of their delectable masterpieces were too artistic to be eaten. Made with ingredients such as rice, barley, sago and bread among others, these edible books are not just works of art, but are also the participants' interpretations of well-loved Tang Poetry.
