ASEAN finance ministers meet in Bali to discuss the planned establishment of a common market.

Jakarta (The Jakarta Post/ANN) - Finance ministers of the 10-member Association of South East Asian Nations (Asean ) kick off their two-day meeting in Bali on Thursday to discuss current economic issues and the planned establishment of the common market in the region. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Asean secretary-general Surin Pitsuwan , World Bank managing director Sri Mulyani Indrawati and International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) representatives will attend the meeting on Friday. On Thursday, the finance ministers will have a three-hour-long closed retreat session at the Laguna Resort in Nusa Dua to discuss current issues such as capital inflows, food security and the Asean Economic Community.
