DTN Singapore: Khoo Swee Chiow's next adventure: SINGAPORE : Singapore adventurer Khoo Swee Chiow is all set to

SINGAPORE : Singapore adventurer Khoo Swee Chiow is all set to go on an exhilarating mountain-climbing journey around the world. Mr Khoo's latest mission will be to summit eight of the world's highest peaks, including Mount Everest which he has already climbed twice before. The others are Ben Nevis in Scotland; Mont Blanc in the Alps in Europe; Mount Davamand in Iran; Mount Fuji in Japan; Hallasan in South Korea; Yushan in Taiwan; and Mount Cook in New Zealand. Mr Khoo's adventure ties in with the network of cities flown to by his sponsor - budget airline AirAsia X. His climb will start with Mount Everest on April 15, and is expected to end in December with his climb up Mount Cook. This time round, he will climb Mount Everest via the North Ridge from Tibet.
