Ferrari driver's wife apologises as netizens raise questions

Almost a week after the fatal accident involving a Ferrari he drove, Mr Ma Chi’s wife has apologised publicly for it. Mrs Ma, who is also known as Madam He Ting Ting, was reported yesterday as having asked a friend to help her put up five posts on Chinese micro-blogging website, Weibo. In the first post, she said that she felt deeply apologetic towards the families of the taxi driver, Mr Cheng Teck Hock, 52, and his female Japanese passenger, Ms Shigemi Ito, 41, both of whom died in the accident. But Mr Muhammad Najib Ghazali, 26, one of the survivors of the fatal crash that left three dead, told The New Paper yesterday that the apology came too late.
