Sony To Join The Tablet Revolution? Of all the names involved in the current tablet brawl, Sony's moniker has been glaringly missing ever since Apple's first iPad landed. All that is set to change, however, if Sony CEO Howard Stringer's recent announcement carries any tangible weight. Sony is said to be priming their own Honeycomb tablet, with rumors of a curved form factor and perhaps, a 9.4-inch screen. GWL - Sony are set to join the tablet revolution, with CEO Howard Stringer announcing that the company plan to deliver a Honeycomb based tablet before the end of the year. Lots of analysts are excited about what Sony may bring to the table, as perhaps the only company that is capable of differentiating themselves and offering some real competition to the Apple iPad.
