They are 16, female and addicted to porn. Some local girls are receiving counselling after they were found to be frequently patronising pornographic websites. In an interview, Arthur Ling, Honorary Secretary of Fei Yue Community Services, explained that many local teenagers, including girls, are addicted to pornographic websites. “In those cases under me, about five per cent of teenagers who are addicted to pornographic websites are girls, with an average age of just 16,” he said. According to Mr Ling, there some reasons these girls are attracted to such websites. Many indulge in fantasies involving their idols. “Some of these girls develop an infatuation with the idols in dramas, even to the extent of fantasising about them.
