Father of Thai teen in MRT accident views CCTV footage - Channel NewsAsia

SINGAPORE : The father of the 14-year-old Thai girl who lost both her legs in a train accident at Ang Mo Kio MRT station has not decided if he will take authorities to task for that incident. The Thai Embassy said he is waiting for investigations to be completed. Ang Mo Kio MRT station has yet to be fitted with half-height platform screen doors. Peneakchanasak Nitcharee is believed to have fallen onto the tracks. Her father has reportedly seen CCTV footage of the incident. But it is understood that all parties involved have agreed to keep details confidential. Tan Tock Seng Hospital said Peneakchanasak Nitcharee is in stable condition, and she is likely to be discharged in a month's time.
