MOE to offer Spanish as 3rd language in 2014

Spanish as a third language will be offered to Secondary 1 students from January 2014, and to first-year junior college students from 2018. -- ST GRAPHIC By Melissa Pang Students here will be able to take Spanish as a third language from 2014. This addition will bring the total number of third languages being offered at the Ministry of Education Language Centre (MOELC) to seven. The new course will be offered to Secondary 1 students from January 2014, and to first-year junior college students from 2018. Currently, French, Japanese, German, Arabic, Malay, and Bahasa Indonesia are being offered at the language school.
