Upgrading, political diversity dominate live TV forum - Yahoo!

Again, same old song sung in differnet tunes. Time and again for as long as the "preferential" upgrading scheme was first mooted and implemented, PAP has explained their rationale behind the policy. I was looking for the panel to really peel back the onions and ask in depth questions -questions that would really give an insight into how much and how hard the PAP has thought about this. Again, perhaps not surprisngly, I was vastly disappointed. Over the news this morning, it seems panelist were lamenting the lack of time as there were too many questions for an hour session. Was this intentionally setup by the producers to ensure only superficial questions and answers can thus be given? I would rather devote the time to asking in-depth questions on one or 2 issues than trying to cover a whole lot and achieving nothing unless of course....that was the objective of some powers...
