NTUC Foodfare, a social enterprise which runs a chain of foodcourts, plans to open more than 100 stalls in hawker centres across the country by 2015 to offer cheap meals. The $1.99 rate is available to people on the Public Assistance Scheme, and senior citizens, students and full-time national servicemen who hold concession cards.
