KATHY Tindall doesn't date in Singapore. Because she doesn't have time to meet anyone, said the 32-year-old Australian. And as a chef, it's hard to sqeeze anything into 14-hour work days. Kathy began her career in Sydney, in 1998, at the Novotel Darling Harbour. And after a move to England to gain international experience working at the highly-regarded The Glasshouse Restaurant in the English Lake District, she returned to an opportunity that would showcase her versatility and ingenuity. As a protege of Aussie celebrity chef and restaurateur Luke Mangan, Kathy went on to work at Luke's glass brasserie (located in the Hilton Sydney) in 2005. Over the course of the next five years, she made her way up from chef de partie to head pastry chef, then sous chef and, eventually, head kitchen honcho.
