GE: No easy solutions for issues faced by Singapore, says PM Lee

SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said there are no easy solutions for issues faced by Singapore but gave the assurance that the government will continue to do what is right. He said where necesssary, the government will take measures to soften the impact of policy decisions. Mr Lee was speaking to Channel NewsAsia after he recorded a Chinese-language TV forum at MediaCorp, where cost of living concerns dominated discussion. 12 participants representing a cross-section of society took turns to question the Prime Minister in a Chinese-language forum. Participants included students, a retiree, a taxi driver and a social worker, while other members of the public also contributed questions via email and SMS.
