JAKARTA - A suicide bomber attacked a mosque in a police compound in Indonesia's West Java province on Friday, killing himself and wounding 28 people. The bomber sat near the front of the mosque as worshipers gathered before Friday prayers and the bomb was detonated at about 12.15pm local time in Cirebon, about 200km south-east of Jakarta. The man was apparently wearing a suicide vest beneath his black robes and was sitting among dozens of worshippers when he set off the bomb, said police spokesman Agus Riyanto. The bomber shouted "god is great" as he set off his device. The mangled body of the alleged suicide bomber was found at the scene but, surprisingly, no one else was killed. The victims in Friday's blast were rushed to hospitals with multiple wounds. Among the injured was Cirebon's police chief, who suffered injuries to his back but walked away on his own, the Jakar...
