Singapore's most active female donor donated blood 125 times

Undaunted by the thought of a needle piercing her skin, the 18-year-old became a donor for the first time. 'It turned out that I was the only girl who donated blood,' she said. 'The boys backed out.' Now aged 55, Ms Al-Johary has been honoured with a Champion of Champions award on World Blood Donor Day.
