Elena Torrijos , On Monday 18 April 2011, 11:37 SGT Singaporeans' growing love affair with the iPhone has adversely affected their liking for Nokia, the world's biggest mobile phone maker, a local survey on corporate brands suggests. Results of the Corporate Reputation Survey 2011 presented by Reputation Management Associates (RMA) on Friday showed that the iPhone was the favourite mobile phone brand of 45.2 percent of survey respondents in Singapore, up tenfold from 4.3 percent in 2008. John Lim, CEO of RMA, noted that Nokia began losing favour with consumers since the introduction of the iPhone nearly four years ago. In RMA's earlier survey in 2008, Nokia was the darling brand, garnering 47.5 percent of respondents' nod, but in the latest survey it fell in the rankings to second place as only 19.4 percent of respondents gave it the thumbs up.
