let me see if i can offhand count the number of reasons why i would want to vote against the incumbent than for them ... (1) price of public housing skyrocketing (2) locals competiting with foreign talents for the same jobs, public transportation and roof over their heads on local soil (3) price of COEs skyrocketing, but doing little to ease traffic congestions (4) casinos being built here without mandate of public, ruining lots of lives (5) pm lee commenting we are not ready for a two party political system. after nearly 60 yrs under PAP, if we are not ready, when would we be? would we ever be? (6) the one-off goodies always come just before an election to sweeten the deal and people's hearts, but why do that instead of managing the people's discontent during your term when you are given the mandate to rule?
