Bieber did not greet fans at Changi Airport due to 'security issues'

TO MAKE a mark in music - that's the legacy Justin Bieber wants to leave behind. The 17-year-old singer was in town yesterday as part of his Asian tour and held a quick press conference before his sold-out show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. "I hope that I stay a good person, I want to be known as someone that people can look up to," he said. "Sure, I'll make mistakes - I'm not going to be perfect. Sorry, but I'm only human. But I'm going try my best." He also had a message for his fans who had waited in vain - and eventually in tears - at the airport to get a piece of the teen pop phenomenon. "It was security issues," he explained. "I love my fans - but I can't be put in situations where I'm in danger. Because sometimes some girls do get a little crazy and just grab me."
