SINGAPORE : When OneInbox is up and running in early 2012, the aim is to get 30 per cent of Singaporeans using it within three years. Introduced in phases, this is the government's plan to equip Singapore residents with just one inbox for all government e-mails. This update comes from the Government Chief Information Office, on the sidelines of a major IT event at the Singapore Expo. Singapore has a high infocomm adoption rate, according to the Infocomm Development Authority. Last year, 95 per cent of homes with school-going children had access to a computer. So under the masterplan for the year 2011 to 2015, the plan is to have a "OneInbox" for all government e-mails.
