I'm the underdog, says Sitoh #SGelections

THE PAP's man in Potong Pasir is not feeling any more confident although his nemesis is no longer Mr Chiam See Tong but his wife Lina Chiam. Mr Sitoh Yih Pin, 47, told everyone within earshot at a walkabout on Wednesday: 'I'm the underdog, really.' Even a resident's reassuring remark failed to convince him that he now stands a better chance than at the past two elections. Mr Chiam, 76, who, has been the constituency's MP since 1984, has handed over the reins to his 62-year-old wife, vice-chairman of the Singapore People's Party.
