This forum letter on "One voter's dilemma" has *our* vote for Most Duhhhh Letter of #SGelections so far:

WITH Polling Day on May 7, I am faced with a dilemma. If I vote for the People's Action Party (PAP) for long-term stability, will it really listen to voices from the ground and help meet our basic needs? Alternatively, if I vote for the opposition, can they really help? If I do make the wrong choice, then I have to live with the consequences of my actions. I also do not wish to cast a 'spoilt vote'. The ruling party claims that it has done many things for us, which is true. However, we also know which areas it has fallen short in. As for the opposition, they have come out with great ideas once again. But how they are going to implement them with a minority in Parliament is anyone's guess. As a voter, I need to be given as much information as I can get to make an informed decision. I hope to get that from now to Polling Day.
