LONDON: Former European champions Nottingham Forest kept their hopes of a return to the Premier League alive with a 3-2 win over local rivals Leicester to move back into the top six of the Championship. Forest's win also pushed Leeds, who were facing fellow promotion hopefuls Reading later Friday, out of the play-off places for the first time since November. Forest and Leicester, managed by former England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson, were locked at 2-2 at the City Ground until the 84th minute when goalkeeper Chris Weale allowed a drive from Paul McKenna to slip under his body. Marcus Tudgay had put Forest ahead in the 15th minute before Matt Oakley levelled five minutes later. Robert Earnshaw put the hosts back in front in the 73rd minute only for substitute Darius Vassell to equalise 60 seconds later.
