Woman #hogs seat with bags even after approached by #train staff

A woman who was sitting in a Reserved Seat placed her belongings on the empty seat beside her in a crowded train. Train staff approached her, but she continued to hog the seat with her bags, said STOMPer Sara . The STOMPer said (Apr 23): "Selfish commuter. "She refused to take her belongings off the seat even after verbal advice from the train staff. "The train was crowded at Chinatown in the late afternoon. "Her belongings were on the seat but it seemed like nobody dared to ask for the seat. "I had thoughts of doing so, but I was preoccupied at that time, and shortly after, train staff asked her to remove her bags from the seat. "She did so, putting her bags on her lap. "Train staff asked others to sit, but no one wanted to sit there. "A short while later, the woman put the bags back on the seat. "She was also seated on a Reserved Seat.
