HTC Flyer to swoop into M'sia next month

KUALA LUMPUR - The Tablet device market in the region is going to get a little more crowded next month with the availability of the compact and lightweight HTC Flyer in Malaysia. Sporting an aluminium unibody construct, the Flyer weighs just 415g and features a seven-inch touchscreen display with a 1,024x600 pixel resolution. According to Maxis representatives, the Flyer is powered by a 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal Flash storage and supports Adobe Flash 10.1 for enhanced web browsing. Though the HTC Tablet doesn't run on the Android 3.0 Honeycomb platform, it will run Android 2.3.3 with HTC's Sense interface that has been optimised for tablets. However, HTC said users will have the option to upgrade to Honeycomb later this year.
