Pasir Ris-Punggol 5-year development plan unveiled
SINGAPORE: Residents in Pasir Ris-Punggol can look forward to more lift upgrading and carparks. These are just some of the projects Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean put forward at the unveiling of the Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC 5-year development plan. Mr Teo said the plan will focus on five key themes - family, youth, parents, home and community. Mr Teo also revealed that if PAP wins the May 7 General Election, the party will merge the Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC and Punggol East SMC town councils. Mr Michael Palmer has been put forward to chair the merged town council. When asked about the contest in Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC for the coming polls, Mr Teo said he had not seen much of the opposition.
