This time round, we took the opportunity to tap on his expertise and experiences, having being involved in many of Australia’s recent marine biodiversity censuses and invited him to share them with us at the Wallace Lectures . A decent crowd showed up even though it was an evening talk, but we are really pleased that the Straits Times featured Peter D. in their broadsheet today. This will allow us to reach out to even more people and convince them that this little island called Singapore is capable of many more surprises than we think! After all, these efforts have identified 100 species, some of which are new records to Singapore or new to science since CMBS started, and we are only one third through!
