The first bidding exercise in May for certificates of entitlement (COEs) will open on Tuesday noon (May 3) and close on Thursday 4pm. May 5, 4pm. A total of 1,887 COEs will be up for grabs, with 511 pieces available for Cat A (cars 1,600cc and below and taxis), 439 pieces for Cat B (cars 1,601cc and above), and 330 pieces for the open category. The categories for motorcycle and commercial vehicles have been allocated 330 pieces and 277 pieces respectively.
