Some friends are adamant that the WP has made a mistake in pitting their so-called A-Team in Aljunied. Despite the fact that candidate-for-candidate, record-for-record, there seems to at least be a plausible fight, the gut feeling is that there is 'no way' the PAP could lose a GRC. Well, there are many reasons why the WP might lose big in Aljunied, but it'd be a shame if it happens just because, after four decades of pragmatism, Singaporeans have blunted their capacity for thinking the unthinkable. Before the naysayers cavil, thinking the unthinkable is good science and on that basis alone ought to recommend itself to ultra-logical Singapore.
