AN INCUMBENT in the Holland-Bt Timah GRC, Mr Christopher de Souza, said while new media is helpful in engaging the younger generation, the traditional face-to-face approach is more effective in solving problems. Responding to Singapore Democratic Party candidate James Gomez's remarks that house-to-house visits are 'old- style tactics', Mr De Souza said he and his People's Action Party teammates 'strongly beg to differ'.
