SINGAPORE has "an academy" of match-fixers, according to a global investigation conducted by Fifa. In a massive investigation by Fifa, the world governing body of football discovered "significant" Singaporean involvement in global match-fixing. Fifa's highest ranking officials including president Sepp Blatter were briefed on the findings of the match-fixing probes around the world, in particular Finland where Singaporean Wilson Raj Perumal is being held. In an exclusive interview with The New Paper, Mr Chris Eaton, Fifa's Head of Security, said Wilson Raj wasn't the only Singaporean involved in the match-fixing scandals across the globe.
