SINGAPORE'S politics is not just about parties and elections, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in his May Day message released on Saturday. It is about looking after the interests of workers, and Singaporeans knowing what their future depends on and supporting leaders to work with them to secure their future. 'Our politics have looked after the interests of our workers,' he said, noting that the partnership between the Government, the labour movement and employers has ensured Singapore's unity and resilience when confronted by crises.
