SINGAPORE - Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan has this poser for the Singapore Democratic Party (SDP): Can you translate your ideas into outcomes? Speaking to reporters after a walkabout near the Admiralty MRT Station and market yesterday morning, the People's Action Party's anchor for Sembawang Group Representation Constituency (GRC), said ideas were cheap but it is translating them into reality that matters to residents. Mr Khaw's comment was directed at the Dr James Gomez of the SDP, who on Saturday revealed the party's plans to address concerns of Sembawang residents. At a rally in Woodlands, Dr Gomez, who leads the SDP's five-member team for the GRC, unveiled the "People's Plans" to address issues concerning transportation, overcrowding and care for the aged.
