More initiatives to lift S'pore education system #SGelections
EDUCATION Minister Ng Eng Hen said on Sunday that more new initiatives will be rolled out in the next five to 10 years to boost the Singapore education system and make it one of the best in the world. He highlighted how the education system here has been built up over the years to become a truly student-centric system that enables every child to go as far as he can, according to his abilities and interests. He also stressed that this is a government that believes in education uplifting individuals. Dr Ng made these remarks at a mid-campaign media conference on Sunday afternoon, after Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong tried to refocus Singaporean voters to the real issues that they need to be concerned about to secure their future.
